Con Crowley
Managing Director & Publisher
A journalist by background, Con has extensive experience of management in both local and national media. He helped launch The Guardian Free Newspaper Group in the 1970s, editing The Kingston Guardian, and going on to work for various different publishing groups before starting his own. One of the founding partners of Sheengate Publishing, Con oversees its commercial as well as creative functions.

Nicola Waite
Head of accounts
Nicola joins our team with a wealth of accounting and HR experience working with a wide variety of SMB’s over the past 30 years and now brings her financial skills to Sheengate Publishing.

Niki Hornsby
Group Head of Sales
Niki has spent her career in advertising sales and publishing, progressing from Sales Executive at Newsquest to Regional Sales Manager at Trinity Mirror. She later joined Baylis Media, where she quickly advanced to manage the full print and digital portfolio. Since 2019, she has been with us, now serving as Group Head of Sales, overseeing multiple magazines.

Maggie Walsh
Sales Manager
Maggie began her career in book publishing at DK in London before taking a career break to raise her three sons in Surrey. She returned to publishing with writing and editing roles across the Sheengate portfolio, later moving into media sales. She now deputises for Niki, leads the Elmbridge and Kingston Magazine, and oversees The Landscaper trade title.

Kirsty Bane

With over 15 years of sales experience, including more than 8 years in media sales, Kirsty Bane brings deep industry knowledge and a proactive approach to client service. She manages the Guildford, Farnham & Surrey magazine and has built strong relationships with a growing base of regular clients over the past year.

Chelsea Cummings
Media Sales Manager
Chelsea has 15 years of sales experience, specialising in digital advertising. She has worked with clients across various industries to create tailored campaigns that drive engagement and ROI. With strengths in prospecting and contract negotiation, Chelsea is passionate about delivering impactful strategies that provide long-term value.

Rossana Silva
Media Sales Manager
Rossana is a charismatic social media content creator, with a strong background in marketing and recruitment. Rossana is passionate about connecting people with the right opportunities and excels at understanding the needs of clients.

Shareefa Pariagh
Media sales executive
Shareefa joined Sheengate after graduating from the University of Brighton with a degree in English Literature and Media. Her background in retail and hospitality has honed her communication and customer service skills.

James Kellaway
Media sales executive
James joins us with a strong background in hospitality and customer service, having worked with leading names like Greene King and Young’s. He also brings practical experience as a construction labourer, enhancing his team skills.

Richard Nye
Editorial Consultant
The longest-serving member of the editorial team, Richard Nye has worked as a feature writer and sub-editor on all Sheengate titles and was Editor of The Richmond and Barnes Magazines until 2014. He currently works as an editorial consultant across all of our titles. Educated at King’s College School, Wimbledon, he is also a freelance writer and author of the book Railblazing.

Sandy Krupa-Taylor

Sandy has acquired over 30 years of experience in design and print, dealing with all aspects of artwork through to final print. After working for various design companies, she joined Sheengate in 2002. Sandy’s design experience has made a huge impact on the quality of the magazines and she now heads the production team across the entire Sheengate print portfolio.

Sophie Farrah
editor
SW London born and bred, Sophie began her career in television production, working for the likes of the BBC, ITV, and more, before moving to London’s National Theatre where she worked as a producer. She joined Sheengate Publishing in 2015 as a food and drink editor, working across all titles, before taking over The Richmond and Barnes Magazines in 2021.

Libby Smith
Digital marketing
Libby Smith, head of our digital team and marketing output joined Sheengate Publishing in 2018. In the last four years, she has increased web visitors by 40% and worked closely with sales to make new digital assets available for advertisers. Starting her career with a B2B agency, Libby specialises in organic search traffic, web design, and conversion optimisation.
