Remember, remember … That’s right, Bonfire Night is fast approaching, so we’ve chosen our top Surrey fireworks displays! Make sure your celebration of the Gunpowder Plot’s 407th anniversary goes off with a bang!

Take the whole family along for a fun-filled fireworks display at Legoland when the popular Windsor attraction hosts five nights of seasonal entertainment for families. A contemporary take on Bonfire Night traditions, 3D glasses are available to buy, which reveal thousands of exploding Lego bricks within the fireworks display! Enjoy the fairground rides and attractions at the park and see the 5.2 metre tall Lego model of Canary Wharf, as well as models of other famous London landmarks. The spooky monster theme also makes the fireworks displays the perfect way to celebrate Halloween, as kids can come in fancy dress costume.

Ripley Bonfire

As well as the bonfire and spectacular firework display there is an extensive funfair, food stalls, a bar which has a perfect view of the bonfire and fireworks with live music.
6.15 pm Assembly of the Floats
The floats for the procession will assemble in the car park of the village hall. (Please note, this car park is closed for the duration of the event).    
6.30 pm Assembly of Fancy Dress
All participants for the Fancy Dress Competition will assemble in the village hall.    
6.45 pm Judging of the Fancy Dress and Floats
Judging of the Fancy Dress commences by the Ripley Bonfire Queen for the Lara Watts Trophy and prizes. Judging of the Floats by a guest judge for Annual Trophy and prizes.    
7.10 pm Torchlit Procession Commences
The Torchlit Procession, led by the Ripley Bonfire Queen and her attendants, preceded by the band, leaves the village hall and makes its way to the green.    
7.30 pm Lighting of the Bonfire!
The Torchlit Procession arrives at the green and the Ripley Bonfire Queen lights the bonfire.    
8.00 pm Firework Display Commences

Kingston Fireworks Display
Kingsmeadow Athletics Stadium
The Kingston fireworks display promises to be a massive London fireworks event, with a huge display, family attractions and more. Grab a gang and head over for one of the biggest displays in London. Traditional fairground rides and attractions promise a festive night. The Kingston fireworks display is usually one of the biggest of the year. All profits from the Kingston fireworks display will be donated to local charities. Prepare for massive rockets, sky showers and explosions of colour at a seriously impressive London fireworks display.
Friday Nov 2, 6.30pm, display starts at 8pm.
Tickets: advance £5.00 adults and £3.00 children aged 5 – 11 from the Kingston Tourist Information Centre, local leisure centres and Kingsmeadow Athletics Stadium. Tickets bought on the gate cost £6.00 adults and £4.00 kids.

6.00pm The evening will start with a torchlight procession from The Pepperpot, High Street, Godalming.

The Bonfire and Fireworks will be on The Lammas Lands behind The United Church, Bridge Road, Godalming.
Please ensure that suitable footwear is worn as the field is likely to be very muddy.

Brockham Olympic and Jubilee Bonfire Celebrations
Brockham
Traditionally a family night of fun and celebration to raise funds for local societies, worthy causes and local charities, Brockham Parish Council are asking for volunteers to help with preparations on Saturdays from 9am and Sundays from 8am. The Bonfire Committee meets on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm throughout October. Volunteers are needed for building, updating the site, torch stick making, brochure compiling and the many admin jobs behind the scenes.

Cranleigh & District Lions Club
Cranleigh, The Common
From 1pm Benson’s Fun Fair will be providing fun and thrills on The Common. From 3pm Stocklund Square will host the Make-a-Guy competition sponsored by Burns & Webber for the 17th year. The winning Guy will be carried in the torchlight procession, taking place at 6.30pm, and placed on top of the bonfire lit at 7.20pm. Fireworks display begins at 8pm. There are some fantastic prizes to be won on the raffle including £200 cash, meals for two and gym memberships!

Epsom Fireworks Display and Funfair
Hook Road Arena
Epsom Fireworks Display & Funfair takes place every November at Hook Road Arena. 7th Epsom (Methodist) Scout Group hosts the display with the help of local charities from the area from which donations out of the proceeds are made.

The 19th Annual Woking Fireworks Extravaganza
Woking Park, near Woking Leisure Centre
2012 will see the 19th Woking Fireworks Extravaganza run by Woking Round Table. As well as one of the best Fireworks displays in Surrey there is also a funfair and food stalls on site. The theme for this years display is “James Bond” in celebration of 50 years of the iconic British Secret Agent and we will also have the Eagle Radio “Love Crew” onsite handing out stickers. Parking for the event is at Woking Station, Heathside Cresent Multi-Storey and other town centre car parks. No Alcohol or personal fireworks (including sparklers) are allowed in the event. Disabled viewing area is closest to the White Rose Lane entrance to the park.

Richmond Family Firework Display

This spectacular annual Richmond Family Fireworks display is brought to you in partnership with Richmond Council, Richmond FC, and London Scottish FC. Also sponsored by the Falcon Schools, with The Poppy Factory being the official charity to benefit from the evening. Every year the Richmond Athletic Association stages a spectacular evening of family fun with a choreographed fireworks display. This year the displays theme of ‘The Best of British’ is set to British tracks encompasses the great celebrations and performances Great Britain has achieved this year. Dance troupes and competitions prior to the lighting of the fire and fireworks display ensure there is never a dull moment. The evening is also full of autumn cheer with hot mulled wine, fairground rides, hog roasts and candied sweets. Once again, the multi award winning Phoenix Fireworks is choreographing this year’s display.

Entry to Stoke Park is entirely free of charge but the organisers ask the audience make a donation of at least £2 per person. All profits from the event will be donated to charity.
