The Rose auditorium will hold possibly the biggest screen you’ve ever seen as we broadcast highlights from the London 2012 Games between 27 July and 5 August. Whether you want to take in the Opening Ceremony in style, catch the rowing or follow the athletics, our monster 8m x 4m screen means you won’t miss a moment of the drama in this hugely exciting year.
Join us on Friday 27 July to celebrate the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Games, live in the auditorium on our huge 32m2 screen – doors open at 7pm and entry is free. We will also be holding a party on the evening of Sunday 5 August including screening of the Athletics between 6.55 and 9pm – doors open at 6pm.
As an Olympic Borough, Kingston is bound to be buzzing so why not come in and enjoy refreshments in our Culture Cafe and take advantage of our special deals on food and drink during this period. There will also be a large plasma in the café screening events right up until the closing ceremony, and then again from 29 August to 9 September showing live coverage of the Paralympic Games.
