Karen Millen hosts charity breakfast at Rabbit 2012
Karen Millen OBE will host a charity breakfast on June 19 at Kempton Park during Rabbit 2012, a day long business exhibition featuring technology-aided networking
Ms Millen’s charity breakfast will offer a chance to network in the presence of someone who made a lasting contribution to the British retail sector. The event costs £25 plus VAT (some cheaper early bird tickets are available), with ticket proceeds going to a joint initiative between The Children’s Development Trust and the charity founded by Ms Millen, Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.
It forms part of Rabbit 2012, a daylong business-to-business exhibition, with seminars and networking sessions. The technology integrated into the exhibition will be a great showcase of how contemporary technology can be used to aid the successful creation of links between businesses.
The exhibition will have its own Rabbit mobile app, which lets delegates scan QR codes and upload exhibitors’ contact details straight into their mobile phones. The app will also let delegates book meetings with exhibitors ahead of the event. Live twitter walls will be used to spark debate and let visitors know about product launches.
Dan Maudhub, event director at Rabbit said: “We’re thrilled that British fashion entrepreneur, Karen Millen is hosting our charity breakfast networking session.
“In such a tough climate, Rabbit is an exciting and affordable way for business to talk and learn from some of the most forward-thinking companies in this area, as well as being inspired by those who have already forged a successful business.”
Delegates, who pre-register for the free-to-attend exhibition will be given a complementary pair of tickets to a race event at Kempton Park, worth £32.
Rabbit 2012, June 19, 10am – 4pm, Kempton Park Racecourse, Sunbury. To register as a delegate or for information on exhibiting at Rabbit 2012, visit: rabbitevents.co
