Garden of Reason is an exciting programme of contemporary art taking place at Ham House and Garden in 2012. The eight new commissions are created in response to the historic site and the social and political context of the time it was built.
The art programme will run from April until September 2012, and the gardens will be animated by talks, tours and live art events through out the season.
Nine artists have been selected to create new work inspired by the 17th century formal gardens and their owner, Elizabeth Dysart, Duchess of Lauderdale.
