Walton Cinema renovation
Digital mock-ups of Everyman Walton’s new appearance
Everyman Walton – the cinema on the town’s High Street – is almost ready to reopen following its extensive refurbishment.
Everyman Walton, which is based on the same site of the town’s first fully functional cinema, has been given a comprehensive facelift roughly 20 years after its last refurbishment in 1992.
Its owners, the Everyman Group, have re-kitted out the two-screen cinema to provide residents with a truly luxury experience well suited to a town with plenty of cinematic heritage – Walton was once home to pioneer film director Cecil Hepworth.
The cinema will now have a capacity of 158 seats, including plenty of sofas. The digital mock ups show a fantastic interior with plenty of cinematic chic will greet visitors when the Everyman Walton reopens.
The hugely popular bar remains and continues to give the movie house a sophisticated touch as cinemagoers enjoy wines, champagnes, beers and cocktails. There will also now be a larger selection of food on offer, including freshly made pizzas.
It’s not only the fittings and furnishings getting improved, the cinema will now be able to screen films in 3D. The inclusion of Sony Digital 4K projectors sees the newest screening technology being brought into Everyman Walton. Keep checking their site to see what films will feature.
